2010 FedEx Cup Prediction and Odds

    FedEx Cup Review:
The year long FedEx Cup point series is a great addition to golf. It gives FedEx Cup PGA TOURthe best golfers in the world something to shoot for, a $10 million first place prize, and acts as their playoff system. 2010 is the fourth year of this new system and the PGA TOUR seems to have tweaked the points just right. Tiger Woods won in 2007 and 2009, while Vijay Singh won in 2008.

For 2010, the first playoff event is the Barclays Championship in New York, the second is the Duetsche Bank Championship in Boston, the third is the BMW Championship in Chicago, and the finals event is the TOUR Championship in Atlanta. Four great golf tournaments in four great markets.

    FedEx Cup Winner Prediction:
If you ask me the online betting odds listed above are very attractive. If you look at the current FedEx point list, you will notice only 5 of the players listed above are on the top 10 and the hottest current player Justin Rose isn’t on the list as well. I like Mickelson, Rose, Furyk and Stricker to win the 2010 FedEx Cup. Those are my top four choices in order. Now, if you want a single winner I would wait to see who wins the British Open. If Ernie Els wins than I would through him in the list. If any of the four I mentioned above wins, I am picking them to win it all. To go even further, of my four picks listed above, whoever finishes the lowest at St. Andrews would be my single pick to go the distances in the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
