  2010 AT&T National Review:
  This week’s PGA TOUR golf tournament is the AT&T National at Aronimink Golf Club outside of Philadelphia. This tournament is known to be Tiger’s event over the fourth of July. Usually, it’s hosted at Congressional Country Club in Washington D.C. to support the military theme and July 4th. However, for 2010 and 2011 it was moved in preparation for the U.S. Open at Congressional in 2011. In 2012, this event is scheduled to move back to Congressional.

  Aronimink Golf Club is a jewel located outside of Phili, and a Donald Ross masterpiece. Philadelphia is a great market for the PGA TOUR and should be a very successful golf tournament on all fronts. AT&T is the Title Sponsor, and it’s interesting because they dropped Tiger as a major sponsor individually.

  AT&T National Picks:
  AT&T National is looking to be an exciting golf tournament, especially since Tiger Woods is in the field. Phil Mickelson on the other hand, will not be present to compete against Tiger and the field. Since this is a Donald Ross design, I imagine it will be a shot makers golf course. With that is mind, Furyk and Verplank should play better than most. I also predict Sean O’Hair and Rickie Fowler to have a great showing. Lastly, it wouldn’t surprise me if Justin Rose came out strong after struggling last week in the final pairing, and Hunter Mahan bringing his A game. But, my top pick is going to have to be the defending champion Tiger Woods; he is getting so close to winning. Those are my picks and I will list them in order: Woods, Verplank, Furyk, Fowler, O’Hair, Mahan, Rose. Lets see how they do.
